Saturday, July 24, 2010. For our farewell party, a bunch of ladies decided to teach us how to make one of my favorite ukrainian dishes, vereniki! Basically, its kind of like a dumpling that is filled with anything from potatoes to fruit. all you do is boil it in water for about 5 minutes and serve it with sour cream. See all the pretty ones?
