This blog is for EDES 501. What I liked most about this class was how I was challenged to use Web 2. 0 technologies that I would otherwise never have tried. One such technology was Animoto. Now that I have discovered the ease of reading and organizing my RSS feeds using Google Reader. As these were particularly applicable to my professional development in learning about Web 2. Most importantly, this course has motivated me to keep learning abo.
A Voyage Into the World of Web 2. Why is it so important that we integrate technology? I would rather stick to the same lessons I have taught for the last 30 years, thank you. There is also School Wide Educ.

Friday, April 30, 2010. Well, it seems like only yesterday. But of course, it wasnt. I am approaching my 50th birthday at what suddenly seems like the speed of light. Honestly, Im not entirely sure how its happened! The number does not compute and certainly does not match the age I think. I am Im not sure exactly what that age is. Nonetheless, it is a milestone birthday and will be celebrated as such. Hard to believe I was the baby, little girl and adolescent in those pictures! My passports been .CONTENT

Sunday, August 16, 2009. And now, the end is near; And so I face the final curtain. And I did it my way. Good old Sinatra getting the tone exactly right for how I feel right now, almost seems like an end of an era. This course has certainly been a trial by fire and it has brought me closer to many of my fellow students as we slogged through the last six weeks of our shared experience together, not something I considered when I initially signed up for this course. Adieu it has been an interesting process.
