Sunday, August 16, 2015. It has been a lovely, quiet week here on Parker Street. Green beans are in full harvest. I sprayed again for Japanese beetles. I am loving the fact that I have NOT had to attend all the before-school teacher orientation meetings that have been going on since Wednesday. I have been finishing up my quilts while watching movies with Elise - Wuthering Heights boy, what a downer! And Jane Eyre channeling the Bronte sisters. Here are my finished quilts! The results of my PET scan were not perfect but were very good! The scan measures brightness, which tells us how active my cancer cells are. Mine was about a 3 and the threshold for using radiation is 4.

Es ist ja inzwischen wohl nix Unbekanntes, dass ich ungewöhnliche Formen gern stricke. Von Jenise Hope gehört auf alle Fälle in diese Kategorie und hat es so ganz zackikg auf meine Nadeln geschafft. Gestrickt aus WollmeisenLace-Resten und ein wenig abgeändert. Ich hab das Einstrickmuster durch ein Perlenmuster erstezt. Naja, es geht halt nicht ohne die kleinen Glitzerdinger! Und ich finde die stehen dem Jackerl ganz gut. Hat mal wieder richtig Spaß gemacht! Wie die Zeit vergeht.
