A little place where I create. Saturday, April 7, 2018. I wanted to pop in today and share a couple of cards featuring my new Tulips.
How are you doing? Hope you are just great! Today I want to share with you this beautiful card with you. When life gives you lemons. I made this card using one of the sheets that comes in the Flamingo Fever Mini Coloring Book. I colored it with my Prismacolors and to blend the colors I used Gamsol and a stump, that helps to have a nice colored image. To the banner I added Stickles, when it was dried I put Mod Podge Dimensional Magic.
Anyway, enough of my whinging and back to more important things, such as crafting. It is the first of the month so there is a new challenge up at Ladybug Crafts. Embossing folders, create a card dies and quilling flower dies. Monday, 1 June 2015.

I am still active, in fact I am so busy that I have not had time to post. However, all that should change. I have finally retired from teaching and from being a member of our local Artisan Shoppe. That leaves me with a void of time! Therefore, I have recently become a Close to My Heart Consultant.

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Nature and Penny Black Stamp. I just bought the Penny Black Stamp - Sweet Fairies. I love the little one holding the lady bug and the stomach sticking out. I stamped it with Memento black ink and colored it with Copic Markers.
Monday, 3 August 2015. Today we have a new challenge over at UK Besties. Anything goes with the option of Long Hair. I have used Bestie image 584 you can find her here. The card today is a 6 x 6 card layered with craft card. It is layered with some lovely papers I found in my drawer. The image is coloured with copics. E44,43,42 and 40. I die cut the image and also die cut a fancy backing for her. I added a die cut bow and some small roses.

Friday, October 28, 2016. Its a long time since I posted but life has been hectic and problematic. Recently I have enjoyed combining different crafts and equipment to make projects. The latest seasonal project I have done is these gorgeous festive decorations. Available in two sizes - what could be more seasonal. Perhaps 24 small and one large! My grown up children think these are magical and they each have one and their partners all ready for the tree. When they were young they had personalised baub.
Monday, January 26, 2015. Out of interest, I have tallied the miles we sailed on Ladybug and Ladybug II. In our first boat, the Cal 29, Ladybug, we sailed approximately 7600 nautical miles from Canada, down the US coast, in Mexico, and back to Canada via Hawaii over a period of a year. We spent about 60 nights at sea on her, mostly on the return trip. On Ladybug II, our Coast 34. We owned her for approximately 6 years. We spent about 100 nights at sea.
