Violin, Kitchener-waterloo symphony. Julia Dixon joined the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony in 1988 after graduating from the University of Western Ontario. Her principal teachers were Steven Staryk and Lorand Fenyves. Julia also teaches violin privately and performs chamber music regularly in the Kitchener area. Violin, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Youth Orchestra. Andrea is the proud daughter of KWS musicians Julia Dixon and Christopher Sharpe. A 12 year old native to Kitchener Ontario, Andrea has played violin in the KWS Youth Orchestra Program for 4 years and currently studies with Lance Ouellette. A girl of many tallents, she has also been been studying piano with Joanne Bender for the past 5 years and also enjoys playing bass clarinet and baritone in her Courtland Senior Public School bands.
