Monday, August 16, 2010. I am moving to China tomorrow, and as you may already know, blogger is inaccessible behind the Great Firewall. I dont know how long this blog will remain inactive, at most the entire time Im in China, and at least a few weeks until I get settled and work out a way to email the pictures to a friend in America who can upload them. Thursday, January 31, 2013. But no village I visited in England captured my heart like Shere. I admit to having a romanticized view of what the quintessential English village should be. Shere brought all of those romanticized views to vivid life. It is as quaint and lovely as any place on earth I have ever been. In fact, the roads seemed so narrow that I was certain our car would get stuck somewhere along the way. If only it had! What a place to be stuck.
