Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Exactly three months and ten days ago I was elected Kansas FFA State Secretary and man has time flown by. These three months have been filled with new opportunities, countless new friends, and the joining of six friends who have become more like family. I remember one road trip that was particularly long. We were going to Plains, Kansas to visit family. In case you were wondering, Plains is a tiny little town that is the definition of Western Kansas. Did you know Plains has the widest Main Street in the United States? Well now you do! Main Street in Buhler.

Friday, April 17, 2015. We all have those days where nothing can seem to go right. We might wake up late and miss our ride to school, then realize we forgot our gym clothes at home, then sit down in class and remember we have homework due. But hey, it happens to all of us. I had one such week where I was really starting to get worn down and worn out, accomplishing nothing, like a bald tire trying to get traction on the ice.
