A couple weeks ago I brought them in the house from the porch because we had frost warnings, and someone told me. that when you do that it will spur them to bloom. I took them back outside on a sunny afternoon last week for a picture. the white one opened up first. and now today this red. A couple weeks ago I got a surprise package in the mail from my new friend.

I can hardly wait to see more changes in color, which means change of season, change of temperatures. Complain about it? Last but not least, my newest project, many triangles! Decora.

Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Well it is time to do my 6 month post. I have finished off a few project since I was last here and thought I would share them with you. Some of my quilts I had in our quilt show here in our small town. This one is a Christmas quilt, the fabric I bought down in the Black Hills last summer. I SO have Spring Fever! It is supposed to reach 68 degrees today. It has been delightfully warm. Just patches of snow here and there that have not melted. Hard to believe that just a few weeks ago winter storms were still having their way with us. Can you believe we had ice fishermen on our lake yesterday?
