Searching for a journey on the Appalachian Trail. Sunday, July 5, 2015. Adventures never cease, I simply have not been writing about them. Largely, I lacked the impetus because no single event was as dominating as a thru hike. We sat the next day, knowing we only had 3.5 miles to our pickup point, like resident couch potatoes of the forest. We made a fire, breakfast, coffee and small talk. Sunday, November 17, 2013. When I look back, I realize that we started this particular chapter of our journey over a year ago. Last September we took Miss K into the intake appointment for Speech and Language after a referral was placed the month before.
