Come on in, and knit with me! Friday, July 25, 2008. Ive posted photos from our backyard pond before, but I just cant resist. yesterday, we had a double bloom on our water lily, and DH got a great photo of it. Isnt this a beauty? Sadly, these gorgeous 4-inch blooms only last for two days, then theyre gone. Cutting them doesnt work very well, they close up at days end and dont reopen. So we have to enjoy them while they last! Hat for a family friend. Im using stash black wool, and a shifting grey that I found at the LYS, and hope to have it finished tomorrow, which will give me time to block it before the big day.
