Having recently taught myself to crochet, I am now loving it more and more. Currently I am working on a Ripple blanket by Lucy from Attic 24. Here is a shot of my work in progress. And for Easter I have been working up these lovely Bunnies by the green dragonfly. I recently discovered some awesome patterns by Susan Claudino.

Wednesday, September 24, 2014. I forgot to take pictures of the lovely little Chrysalis to Monarch. Book, Topsy-Turvy Inside-Out Knit Toys. Each month I host a new KAL in the Itty Bitty Knits forum. And this one is the butterfly. This morning it was put in his backpack and hauled off to school before I thought to take any pictures! Instead, I have a video of my little miss transforming the toy while her brother was resting on the couch after school yesterday.
Just finished two more tea cosies. Just started one for valentines day. Thinking of selling some items on etsy. It would help fund future yarn supplies and some cosies would get good homes instead of sitting at the bottom of a drawer. Has anyone sold on etsy, any feedback would be appreciated. Cold weather has finally reached the South! South Carolina had surprise snow and here in North Carolina we had a really chilly Halloween weekend. I am not a huge fan of the winter months, but it has been fun getting to wear all my warm hand knitted sweaters! I am thrilled to report that I finished my Kennedy sweater. The yarn is one of my tried and true favorites Plymouth worsted merino superwash.
The changing of the seasons from sommer to autuum is, next to winter into spring the most visible one. Not espacially for the cold and dark days it rings in, but for the colors and the smell.

Do I just pick it up again like I was never gone, or do I do a full update? I swore this would not happen with knitting. I want knitting to be part of my every day life, I want it to be a lifelong hobby.
