Tuesday, 30 June 2015. The 2015-2016 school year will start with our annual Opening Conferences. This year, parents will use an online scheduling system to book appointments with teachers. Instructions were included in June report cards and are also available online.

For the last month we have been studying hard about butterflies. We learned about their life cycles by watching videos and reading books and the we got a bunch of our own little caterpillars and were so so excited to watch their life cycles unfold and watch them turn into beautiful butterflies. We were surprised at how small the tiny caterpillars were when we first got them! Then they hung themselves upside down on the lids of their homes in the shape of Js. Then we watched and w.

On the last day of school before holidays we celebrated with some STEM challenges. I have absolutely loved watching the students build their stamina and confidence during these challenges. They are becoming more confident in their abilities and developing strategies to help them become more successful. Here are the challenges students were presented with.
