Friday, August 19, 2011. Just Add Ink challenge 81 - Colour Challenge. The talented ladies over at Just Add Ink. Soooo not colours I would choose straight away, so I had fun seeing what I could come up with. Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Can you tell I like tearing? More tearing it up.

This week the team at Just Add Ink. 0160; Ive chosen to clear-emboss on my card for this weeks challenge. I started off with a colour scheme that was inspired by this gorgeous card.
Our Love is Like Fireworks. It was supposed to be simple, but it got more and more intricate as I was working on it. Initially, I wanted to pair the Me and My Yeti stamp set with the latest Distress Oxide ink colours that were added to the ink line. I was just going to do a hill, ink the sky and add the yeti as the star from the sketch.

As you are probably aware, Im also a dairy farmer. World wide, there is a downturn in dairy because of stockpiling and Russian sanctions. There is quite a lot of depression surfacing amongst dairy farmers at the moment and some of the communities are rallying around each other.
The next Just Add Ink Challenge is here. Suggested by Nikki the Just Add Two items are Stencil, Foil, Feathers. I used Embossing paste and a stencil to create my back ground panel. I used some foil card to add some leaves and a circle in the centre of the daisy. The ribbon also has gold accents in it too.

Monday, June 27, 2011. This first one was inspired by a gorgeous emboss resist card on the demonstrator pin-up board in Melbourne. If anyone recognises it, feel free to let me know who the artist was. Is my inspration card, by the fabulous Sharlene Meyer. Now, can you tell what these two characters are? Did you guess a butterfly and a peacock? Both made using the large scallop circle die.
