Friday, March 14, 2008. I think the best outcome of attending this year is the exposure to the Writing Project. I am really excited about attending this summer. I know that it if the Literacy Academy had this much impact on me as a teacher, the Writing Project will really be something. I am new at this, so please be patient.

Monday, May 5, 2008. After 2 years, our time together is coming to a close. I have learned so much by attending this Literacy Academy. The 1st year was my favorite-I learned new things at every meeting that I could take immediately back to my classroom. The second year was more of a personal struggle for me. While I do think the invention of the cell phone is a valuable technology, I do believe the majority of people have become more rude because of them. I have had people crash their carts into me while at the market because they were yapping on their cell phones and not paying attention. Tax credits will be available for those purchasing or leasing a hybird vehicle and that is a much better incentive than a tax deduction. I may not agree with .
