A blog about Matt, Jill, and Lilly. Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Our special family tradition now is to go to the Ozark Corn Maze in Cave Springs. We went last year with my mom and dad. I missed my dad there this year, he would have for sure wanted to take Lilly up in the newest attraction - helicopter rides. She got a little too friendly with one goat and tried to make him wag his tail.

I am so looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us in 2010, because I genuinely believe the best is yet to be! James and I are nearly finished with our home projects! .

Wednesday, June 2, 2010. I am realizing now more than ever that life is not slowing down. In fact, if things are going to slow down I will have to make them slow down. I will have to make different choices. I will have to say no to things and to people to whom I have no desire to say no. What are some things that you feel you need to add or subtract from your life? Kelly and I are really excited for you to join us over the July 4th weekend. Hopefully you are as excited as we are to spend the weekend with great friends. Boy, was I wrong! Every day is completely new and it only gets better. Frankly she is everything I could ask for in a wife and a best friend. Plus, how could you not love that face.

Monday, April 2, 2012. I just returned home from the funeral of my Aunt Valorie King. To say emotions have been close to the surface would be an understatement. She passed away after a valiant three year battle with breast cancer and at far too young of age. She is the mother of eight incredible children all of which paid beautiful tributes of her today. They are all strong, independent and such a close knit family. I love order and appreciate obedience. I have bridled my passion.
