Monday, August 6, 2012. So this one was a little easier. I used a cheater for the center and put a pieced border on. I am quilting it now and it is going very fast. I also bought a nursery rhyme book that has a music CD with it, to give along with this cute Mother Goose theme.
Monday, June 15, 2015. The guild did a beautiful job hanging the show! Sunday, June 7, 2015. Thanks to my amazing team, the raffle quilt is coming along nicely. Friday, October 28, 2011. This is how my bargello came out. My runner is draped over the edge of my sewing machine cabinet. I bound the edges and then off I went to take the second lesson from Til - embellishments! Til brought so many beads and baubles and bright shiney things! Ribbons and needles and threads galore. Others brought their decorative stashes to share, too, for who would ever use 7,000 tiny gold beads? Not in my lifetime! This is a time consuming but easy proje.

I love to cross stitch for charity. My main focus since I retired in 2006 has been stitching and sewing for World of Charity Stitching and Love Quilts USA. Saturday, June 3, 2017. I got quite a bit accomplished in May, even though it was a busy month in the garden and our granddaughter finishing up her first season of high school softball. The kittens were fun to stitch and will eventually be part of a Love Quilts quilt for a sick child. April Bunny for a quilt.
