Ellis playing in the sand. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. I Have a 1st Grader. Everyone told me time flies by when your kids start school. Wow, they were right! May is the perfect time to go. The past few days Ellis and I have party hopped from one school to another. Gracie will start gymnastics in June. Cole started T-Ball this week with his buddies Miles and Carter. The Adventures of Jason and Cayce! Monday, July 5, 2010. Today we returned to Birmingham from a great weekend in the north Georgia mountains with Brad and Lindsey. We arrived late on Friday after a long weeek of work for Cayce to our rented cabin. After a few hours of sleep we headed to the Ocoee River in Tennessee. We did a full river whitewater rafting trip that lasted 6 hours. Part of the trip covered the whitewater kayak course from the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
