Saturday, August 13, 2011. I then went home and did the last of my packing up. Oksana, Ludmilla Sergeevna, Ludmilla Iosifovna, and Me! I left the next day to go into to Kokshetau to stay the night before getting a taxi to Astana. Ludmilla, her husband and daughter came to pick up me and my luggage. I had a tearful goodbye with my Babushka, who told me I was like the daughter she never had. A taxi was at the offic.

Monday, May 9, 2011. What is there to do but enjoy the hustle of Peace Corps service. The entire month of April was spent away from Lesnoye. For the first three weeks, I assisted 11 energetic new volunteers at their Pre-Service Training. Every single day demanded professional attention. Four of the new volunteers within my group will serve in my state.
