Big things and a little help. I guess Instagram in its simplicity and immediacy has my heart. But I want to share some big happenings here, professionally speaking. In August I was granted a book deal. A BOOK DEAL! I am currently writing my first book on paper flowers. What a dream come true.

Monday, February 19, 2018. Time to share some room tours before this new house becomes old! The guest room was definitely one of my favorite rooms to decorate in this house and I splurged a little here and there. What that means is our guest bedroom has soft, beautiful sheets while our master bedroom has old, close to threadbare sheets - ha! I think the star in this room are the roman shade curtains. This was fabric I had purchased for our previous house in the dinin.

Saturday, July 23, 2011. Captive Lions and Feral Cats opening. My art show opened last night. A nice turnout, great conversations and excellent food. My atrwork addresses contemporary situations of animals such as the captive wildlife crisis and the feral cat crisis.

Called, Refueled, founder, Chris Brown felt that there should be an alternative magazine in the country arena inspiring a younger generation, each issue published bi-yearly featuring collectors, shows, designers, decor, style and music. About the cost of mass-produced clothing including the cost to labourers, the environment, and farmers who produce raw goods. It made me want a handmade wardrobe even more.
