The plan for my work this year is to create a selection of abstract sculptural forms, based on modern architecture, using as a concept the economic boom in Ireland since 1995. I will study forms and textures found in modern architecture in Dublin city and its suburbs. I want my work to capture and reflect the energy and tension that is part of the present architectural revolution. I plan to incorporate new ceramic influences such as the work of Jun Kaneko.
