In March, Grandma B. and Grandpa visited and took us on a little excursion to the Biltmore. Kharis enjoyed playing in the puddles and they both loved the petting zoo. During their visit the kids received their first of several Easter baskets. They also had their first swim of the season at Grandma B.

We headed to Jamestown, TN and decided to stay at the Pointe View Lodge in a remote area near the Big South Fork National Park overlooking a breathtaking gorge. Not kidding, we traveled about 45 miles off the interstate, then another 15 miles into the woods, then forever into the forest onto paths that got more and more narrow with every turn.
