I have really enjoyed the process of discovering all of the resources available through the South Dakota Library network of sites. Each week I looked forward to the next challenge and could hardly wait to get to it on Monday morning. In fact, this week I was disappointed that I had to wait until Monday afternoon before I could do my post because I had actual class work to prepare.
Friday, April 10, 2015. I have to say my personal fave discovery was Ancestry and HeritageQuest. There is so much information on family history in those two data bases. I had no idea they would be so fun to search! Next I would have to say I really liked World Books. I will really be showing it to students and parents more now that I can navigate them a bit better. not anymore! I got all the lessons done! 4 I res.

Search for your own name in AncestryLibrary. When I entered my name my marriage license popped up. I broadened my search and my old address from 15 years ago was listed. When searching for pictures I found there were over 1136 histori.
Sunday, April 12, 2015. Tumblebook Library was my favorite discovery. Many of the other resources were more like things that I expected to find. I did not know that there were so many elements for children to use on Tumblebook. Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about E resources. Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
