Strengthening communities and understanding one another, one film at a time. Community is the essence of what makes us human. To lose this is to lose everything. First the quill and now the lens. Documentary films have the responsibility to call into question the actions of those in power. Are some of my films from Africa.

Working through my production company, Point of View Productions, I have made various films and tapes which together have won over 30 festival awards. I have a special interest in programs about democracy and freedom, health and wellness, ecology and environment, education, sustainable business and social responsibility, peace, anti-nuclear issues, international topics, social justice, the arts, and subjects of importance to women.

Far from protesting vehemently that I was self-taught, I must admit I that I gained my knowledge of cooking partly from my family, partly from helping people who are masters of their arts and partly from cookery books.
