After weeks of emailing and texting it was fun finally meeting Annie in person. To top it all off, Annie very kindly gave me some popcorn snacks and a huge bottle of water for my drive back home. I recently returned from a one-semester sabbatical leave and am piloting a blogging journal with my advanced eighth grade reading class. There are 21 students in the class and they quickly caught on to the paperless journaling system I created on kidblog. The students respond to my posts about the novel we are reading,. Another student posted a request to the class to comment.
