Sunday, August 9, 2015. I shirked all my responsibilities and played with my mom who came to visit. Monday we had massages and Tuesday we went out to Golden, CO. Apparently my great great great grandmother died there, but was buried in Trinidad. We have no idea why she was in Golden, but it was a fun place to visit, and then we met up with some probable distant Highfill relatives.

Thursday, May 26, 2011. Ive fallen way behind again - so this will be a grab bag of randomness over the last month or two. First up - Julianas One Year Pictures. Juli Buck the same photographer who did Julianas newborn pictures did a fantastic job capturing our girls sweet and quirky personality. It was a struggle too - Juliana didnt want anything to do with having her picture taken this particular morning. But after a little coaxing and some goldfish crackers, her smile came through. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Okay - the cupcake fad has gotten a fierce hold on me. I want to work up to decorating fancy cakes but cupcakes are easier to start with. I have been adding different fillings and frosting to the cupcakes for some great combos.
