Today is Wednesday 3rd June and Room 1 just had a Tennis Lesson. We got some good pictures. Finally the speech competition is around the corner! Its sure going to be a hard working 4 weeks for the students here. Last year Room 1 did extremely well in the speech competition. Our year 8s, we had Tayla F. Come in 2nd, and Sophia come an equal 3rd. Our year 7s, Rochelle won, and we had Caitlin come 3rd. We are proud of them and we hope to do so well if not better again this year! It was.

For poetry we had to do a whole lot of poems for Mrs Vaughan like cinquain,octopoem and many more it was really boring because it was so easy and i was finished early. My science fair group was doing our project on fizz pop rockets this is where you need film canisters coke water juice any liquid you need and berocca and blu tack. Our category was fair testing. We wanted to find out. In my group was me,Brendon and Ryan. Our conclusion was that first was coke second was water and last was juice.

An example of when i persisted in something was in gymnastics i was about to quit before our grading but in the end i decided to stick with it and got the top mark out of my whole gym class i also got lots of badges and medals i was so proud of my self. Once we arrived at the lodge the owner talked to us and then we went for a walk around the lodge. Its really big and has lots of dorms. There is also lots of space to run around, and a big hall where you can rock climb.

My Science fair Group did Coke Bombs. We started with Pepsi and James dropped 2 mentos in a ran for it. I had to tie the lid on and then boom it only went 2 cm up an 5 wide. Pepsi was a failure so we had to put that in our log book. So then Cory brought Coke Zero and me and James thought it would not even fizz. But it went better than the Pepsi it went 8 cm up and 1 m wide.

I play it every week, this week we are playing against another Ngongotaha team we are just Ngongotaha AFC they are the Ngo ninjas my friend Axle and his brother are in that team, our goalies brother is also in there team. His interests are Runescape, Maplestory and Music.
