In week 6 term 1 our school, Kaitao. Went to the Aquatic Centre for a fun swimming activities day. We did all sorts of stuff like doggy paddle, breaststroke, backstroke and much much more. This term Accelerate Academy went on a trip to the Rotorua. Trying to gather lots of information about our ancestors and the history of Rotorua. All the tourist attractions that that had been in Rotorua.

Room 5 is currently learning about Pacifica. I am going to talk to you about some of the things we have learnt so far. we have learnt about the ocean groups such as Polynesia, Micronesia and Melanesia. Polynesia contains islands such as Tonga, Samoa, The Cook Islands and French Polynesia. Easter Island and the Chatham. Islands too, and much much more. Melanesia contains Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Papua. It may not seem interesting but really.

The next day we had to split in to our groups and do three activities. After the activities we had to do a preformed for marae idol and the audience was the other groups and after we had tea we watched Ratatouille. The next day we went to Te Puia and Rumaki went to the Museum. Our Academys Enterprise,Rumaki and Adventure wen.
