Saturday, August 15, 2015. Loving his new toddler bed. But this is just so much more comfortable. This summer a local park has been having a free family fun day once a month. We finally got out there to check it out today. It was a good couple hours of fun for the kids, definitely worth going back again, hopefully on a day that is not quite so hot. They started out in the bouncy house. Then we did some exploring.

Thursday, July 21, 2011. This is my most recent quilt. I still have to put a back on it and quilt it. I am thinking about hand quilting it but we shall see. Quilt It is called a Disappearing Nine. It is hard to tell what the pattern is because the print is so busy. One thing that I have learned is that if you want the pattern to stand out you have to be careful about the prints you chose.
