السبت 11 أبريل 2009. قصة قصيرة شتاء جهنم. اشتد البرد في زنزانتي التي لا يضيئها سوى مصباح معلق في السقف كأنه فانوس يلفظ أنفاسه ألأخيرة ناديت سجاني الذي يقف على كرسي طويل في زاوية الغرفة وبفمه سيجارة . أريد مدفأة تقيني برد الليل الشتوي اللامتناهي . كان قصير القامة جدا زم شفتيه بلا مبالاة وظننت أن توسلاتي سوف تصيب المرمى واكسب الجولة من دون الخوض في سياسة العصا الغليظة. قلت له بعطف ورقه . حبال مشانق قلت . لا أريد بطانية أعطني لباسا شتائيا يتناسب مع طقس هذه الزنزانة الرهيبة. نفث دخان سيجارته.
