Wednesday, April 08, 2015. My little learners have been working SO hard on their reading these past few months and I am VERY excited to show what what they have been up to! After reading the progressive phrase 3 times, we got to work on the comprehension questions. My little readers also drew a picture to show me what they know about the phrase. Drawing a picture is such an effective way to have kids tell you about a story.

Saturday, January 26, 2013. Now that our school year is half way over, I wanted to take a minute to catch up on some things we have done. I have been trying to take pictures throughout the year of some of the projects we have done. In August, we did some really fun apple paintings. I wanted something that would match my room and something I could leave up all year. It makes such a cute festive border! .

Monday, June 2, 2014. Thanks to my students I got a few coffee mugs this year. I finally had time to decorate one. I used some pictures of my son and some wonderful sayings I found on the web about special needs and autism. Here is the blank canvas. My hubby bought this gem at the thrift store. They are a little to big.
