Tuesday, May 5, 2015. This weekend was our quilt guilds bi-annual show. I quilted 3 customer quilts and the raffle quilt. The first one was appliqued by my friend Barb and won Best Appliqued quilt. It is Baltimore Autumn from P3 designs. I used Superior SoFine and Bottom Line threads. It has a lot of pebbles and ruler work. Bottom Line and Monopoly on this one. Thanks for stopping by,. Sunday, September 16, 2012. This week I managed to finish another quilt. This had a different twist to it . Its made out of mens blue jeans and shirts. I used the Half Log Cabin block. Jo and I went on a little shopping spree. Market research trip over the week-end to the Wasatch Front Shop Hop,. A tour of 15 quilt shops in Utah from Logan to Springville. We really did critique the shops as best we could. A couple of them seemed to be mired in the past; one was even using scissors instead of a rotary cutter on the fabric and a calculator to add up purchases! I did pick up just a few items. Friday, March 14, 2014. This one needed a panto and I had nothing that would work so I took the flower from this bottom picture. And made a panto out of it. I think it came out great. This is the panto I came up with. I love Civil War prints. As you can see , this one started out as a real headache. But I think I did a pretty good job of beating it into submission.
