A bit of an experiment here, but it came out great! This is a delicious rosemary biscuit, based on a recipe form the free news letter of the Vegan Culinary Experience. Each morning my inbox has a new recipe to check out. The breakfast sausage was based loosely on a recipe by vegan dad. I finally got my very own copy of the Vegan Lunchbox. Food should be easy to make and taste great. I want to show you how! A few months ago one of my dance friends brought chicken to a potluck. It was super tasty, not dry and every one loved it. After that day I started to read up on it and was intrigued. I had a lovely chat with her husband about it a few weeks later and REALLY wanted a Sous Vide machine. The picture explains it best.
Sunday, October 16, 2011. Fall is hands-down my favorite time of year. The crispness in the air, the first snowfall on the hills skirting our little town, the bundled walks with my family, the anticipation of holidays to come, and of course, the food. Apple pies and pumpkin cookies just beg to be made. I, of course, forgot to take a picture of the finished pie before we dug in, but I did remember to take a few pictures of the process.
