This is a journal of our experiences after deciding to RV full-time. Friday, October 24, 2014. We cut our time in the West short and did not go to MAPS convention along with a few other planned stops, as we were needed in Alabama. One daughter lost her job and needed our help in moving. Thursday, July 16, 2015. LAST DAY IN OAKHURST JULY 16, 2015. Nothing official planned for the day, some played golf, others continued exploring and some of us just relaxed in camp. Getting quite warm and there is a pool at the near the golf course and sort of wish I took advantage a warm day.
Friday, December 30, 2011. 1 large can whole tomatoes drained. 2 or 3 cloves garlic. Throw it all in a blender till smooth. 1 small can diced green chiles. Monday, August 22, 2011. Then it was on to dinner at ano.

Trip to Yuma - Winter 2013-14. We arrived in Yuma yesterday afternoon around 2 pm. Today we finished the unpacking and John spent most of the day cleaning up outside while I cleaned inside and did laundry. We are getting there but there is still more to do. And so ends another great gift of a day and we look forward to another great day tom.
Sunday, March 11, 2018. While other than our misguided adventure to see the IRS it has been a while since I updated our travels. Last time I wrote we were in Gila Bend on our way to Foothills over near Yuma. We ran over there and did a little moochdocking with our friends Angela and Don Ritter. Their landlord allowed us to avail ourselves of the extra spot in his yard so we had a good 3-night visit, including a day trip down to Algodones for lunch one day.
Awesome! The tower garden has been producing lettuce like there is no tomorrow. Kit harvested nine of her lettuce pods and filled a large bowl with the leafy greens. Link to original web site. Link to January 15 2017.
Sunday, April 17, 2016. April 5, 2016, we headed out, stopping at the Interstate Battery place in Jasper. The man came out and checked our batteries, said they were OK, and said we should go to an RV service place about 7 miles away. We did, they were out of business, and it was back a 1 lane road and not a great place to turnaround. We decided to keep going to Vidalia, LA. We went about 230 miles, and checked into Riverview Campground, for 2 nights.
