I have been teaching for twelve years. I am married to Jared and we have three wonderful children. Shelby is in the eighth grade, Luke is in the fifth grade, and Dylan is in the third grade. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading and being with my family.

Monday, September 19, 2011. After two days of observations students discovered that a plant will loose water through their leaves. This process is called transpiration. 5th Graders discuss different Biomes. 5th graders look at and analyze a tumble weed from a Desert Biome. They were extremely fascinated when they discovered that they range in size from a tennis ball to a Volks Wagon Beetle.
