Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Our Last Twin Chimneys Swim Meet. Sophie Gets Her Patriarchal Blessing. Sophie wanted to get her partiarchal blessing before we moved to Colorado. I was really proud of her that she has been studying her scriptures and saying her prayers and doing a lot of soul-searching to decide that she felt she was ready for this. Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Day Eight- Normandy and Northern France. Here I am in front of the wall of flags of Allies. Dave overlooking Omaha beach where the majority of US troops came onshore - and the majority lost their lives. Through the tree you can see the graves. so many of them! I believe around 6,000 men and women lost their lives that day and on the following few days. Very well maintained, beautiful, and peaceful setting. Almost a reverent feeling abounds. Tuesday, January 6, 2009. My little miracle-just wanted to share it. So as you all know we went home to California for Thanksgiving and had a really nice time except for a couple of hiccups along the way. When we went to the quaint town of Cameno. Where the famous Apple Hill is our car was broken into and my purse was stolen. From a women in Lake Tahoe telling me that she was out on a walk with her dog, while visiting family in Cameno. Purse He hears our prayers, even the quiet ones.

Friday, August 28, 2009. We had a book of mormon read o thon for the young womons in our ward. it was long and boaring at times but i did have fun. we read the whole book in two days.
