Training for the next race. Tuesday, 18 May 2010. 22 miles of the Severn. Long test of the Speeder this Saturday. The weather was really pleasant, Sunny but not too warm, the water temperature was cold but not so icy that it was too uncomfortable to dip the hands, ideal weather to take the boat on the 22 mile Shrewsbury to Telford run. It also seems that without the peer pressuresupport of another paddler accompanying me I kind of drift off into my steady paddling routine which has me just cruising alon.

Friday, April 14, 2017. I feel sad, again. Life has been going through the motions everyday until the day is over, with sadness being a constant at the door. There are happy times, of course, but those happy moments are oft fleeting and momentarily.
