A class for writers of all abilities. Much of the writing included in a variety of blogs was submitted by a group of students who had been displaced from a sewing factory and were preparing for college courses. Other aspects of the course are for GED students and beginning writers. Teachers wishing to encourage students to write may want to use some of the topics and start your own blogs, books and groups. The Baby is on the Way. My story begins in 1971; it was a cold winter day. The house my family rented was in a holler with a creek bed for a road and a path beside it to use when the creek had water in it. We had no electricity, we had a kitchen stove that burned wood for cooking and another room had a fireplace to warm the house. Our nearest neighbor lived about a mile away. Links to How to sites.
