Hey, might as well put it down while I am on this side of the dirt. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma 10 years ago today. This is after I lay in bed at Kaiser for more than a week. Finally had a name and direction to slay the beast that had quite literally crippled me. Tuesday, March 06, 2018.
Learning to navigate the challenges of multiple myeloma, motherhood, and life while enjoying the view from the top. It has been eight years ago today since I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. October 29, 2008 will forever be etched in my memory as the day that changed the course of my life. It has been eight years! Four years longer than my first prognosis. I am healthy and strong! My lab results show no signs of Myeloma. Is it gone? Will it come back? Ever ge.
He is back to playing golf every Saturday and doing lots of travelling. Out of the last 9 weeks he has travelled during 7 of them. and I have so much to be thankful for. Some family photos taken at the Diaz Tavern.
Thursday, January 1, 2015. Time to Say Goodbye . Mom died peacefully at home after a brief stay in the hospital. She was surrounded by her family and her kitty cat Lily was beside her on the bed as she was finally forced to say goodbye. Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli.
