Hello. My name is Julianna Marckwordt. This blog is to show the collection of artwork I have done for my Art 2 class in high school as a sophomore. I am in this class because I love art and I thought this would be a class that would suit me best. After completing this class, I found that I have improved in art in general. This year we focused mainly on painting and drawing and I feel I have improved in both of these mediums. I hope that I can continue this my Senior year.CONTENT

I drew cabinets from the perspective of an ant using charcoal. I created a version of the color wheel using balloons. It was created by using acrylic paint. I made my own version for the cover of Divergent. It was created by using colored pencils. Painted varying shapes using watercolor then continued the pattern onto the border. Monday, May 18, 2015. The memory project is a nationwide foundation where we get photos of children from an orphanage from somewhere around the world. Then we the art students paint their portraits and send them back. Here is my portrait of my child. I painted him with acrylic on canvas paper. We were to create our own logo for our own imaginary business.

Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Monday, May 19, 2014. I use water color on this project. I add water on all the colors to make the lightness. Therefore, there are shadows showing. I use three gouache - yellow, blue and red to build different color on the rainbow wheel based on different radios of two colors. I also use black and white to make gray to smooth the transform between them so that the shadowing effects show up.
