Color My World

January 23, 2017. Results from a Two hour Screen-printing Demo. Last week, I gave a screen-printing and surface design demonstration at the Elverhoj Musuem. In Solvang. It was a lot of fun to share some of the techniques I use to color cloth. I generally dont have a preconceived plan. I just let the fabric evolve. Most of the time, it turns out well. Sometimes, it needs more layering. Occasionally, it turn out ugly and you just have to cut it into smaller pieces. After Thickened gold dye was added.

Loreclectic

Friday, July 3, 2015. I have always heard artists being encouraged to work in a series, to explore a particular inspiration until it has finished speaking. IN DAWNS STUDIO

Adventures in mixed media and fiber. Monday, September 5, 2011. Is this a big surprise to anyone who knows me well? I think not. Anyway, that being said, I have put aside several things that fall outside of the fabric art realm and now am focusing on where I want my art and cloth to mix. While my painting leaves me wondering if I should return to kindergarten art class, I found the metal work really exciting. Sunday, March 6, 2011. The nice thing about workin.
