When I stumbled upon this abandoned site in a vacant lot near a busy thoroughfare, I felt sad and disturbed. It was eerie to see where homeless people had gathered and slept, and I wondered who had been there, how long and why they left without all their gear.

Saturday, December 7, 2013. Have finally finished off this damn quilt, which I think is cursed. First time I tried to quilt it, the bobbin thread was all fuzzy for about 6 rows of quilting. Started off quilting fine, but half way through, yes in the middle, it went fuzzy again. I have no idea why, but I cant be bothered unpicking, so I have just finished it off. And it turned into nice quilting for the last half of the quilt. Go figure! Hugs to all, and a Merry Christmas to you all! .
