Monday, 17 December 2012. Its been an eventful few days. Doctors confirmed on Friday that the infection was indeed in Camerons hickman line, not what we wanted to hear. Because Cameron was now having chemo related complications, the doctors decided that it would be too risky to continue with treatment, and the line should be removed. Cameron was whisked away to the Gartnaval late Friday afternoon and the line was taken out. So this part of the journey is at an end and we are all truly glad that it is!
