Monday, April 9, 2012. I hosted a small Easter dinner. For the centerpiece, I walked through my neighborhood and gathered everything except the daffodil, which I cut from my own garden. On each place setting there was a small nest. I made coconut macaroons, shaped them in nests, baked them, then as they were cooling I put a small dollop of melted chocolate followed by three mini Cadbury eggs. They turned out really well. Monday, January 2, 2012. Rob and I tied the knot on September 24th, 2011. It was an amazing day with all our friends and family. What was even more incredible was how much love and support we felt from everyone before the big day. Hotdogs, hamburgers filled our bellies and a bonfire ended the the night perfectly. Jen and I designed the invitation for the BBQ. It was the least I could do to contribute to a day I will never forget.
