There was a man in the bunk house snoring so loud that I slept in a rope hammock overlooking the pond. The loons sounded like wolves howling at the moon. When I woke in the morning across the lake where the boat picks up guests to the lodge was a moose. So I did finally get to see one, although at a distance.
