Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Peter and I left Melbourne on 7 September to spend 3 nights with brother Graham and his wife Julie in Cairns. The 6 of us were able to enjoy lunch together at Malanda on Saturday 8 September. Graham and Julie, Howard and Helen, Peter and Joy at Malanda.

Saturday, 21 July 2012. We put our cases into a locker at the Railway Station and set out to see Nuremberg. The world has heard a lot about Nuremberg for its famous War Criminal Trials. A lovely German city surrounded by huge City Walls and Palace. There were three large Churches closeby that had been beautifully restored after the WW11. Most other buildings were about 4 storey high with steep roofs and attics.

Two more children followed - Gladys Penelope Petfield was born 29 June 1915. Was born on 8 September 1917. Birth Certificate - Allan Edward Petfield born 12 July 1912 at Fortescue Street, Spring Hill, Brisbane.
Thursday, November 5, 2015. In 2007 Joy and Peter Olney visited Simpson, Buckinghamshire, England. I had made an appointment to meet up with Peter Barnes. A Historian in the village of Simpson. Peter took us on a walking tour and pointed out places and homes of interest to our family in particular. Peter took us to St Thomas the Apostle Church.
