Welcome to Our Side of the Mountain. Sunday, November 27, 2016. The start of a homeschool year is always filled with excitement and concerns, but this year is especially filled with mixed feelings. This is my first year with just one learner at home. This year Sam will be my only homeschooler.
Friday, August 24, 2012. I took some time to get organized. I put together three 3-ring binders. My homeschool notebook has unit study planners, calenders, book lists and such. I even have a section for this blog! I love the way it looks and I love the way it works for me! I can plan a 6 week unit on one sheet of paper! My Home Journal started when somebody told me about The Fly Lady. Does everything run smooth as silk? This works for me.

I am hoping to get back into blogging this summer, but hopefully this fall again. In thinking about this, I have decided to return to Our Side of the Mountain. Thursday, December 21, 2017. Well, its almost the end of 2017. And to sum up this year I would have to use the word Chaos. Our lives have been flipped upside down in so many ways, some good and some bad, with TONS of changes. Quite honestly, Im just ready for this year to be OVER!
