DESCENDANTS OF MATHIAS and BARBARA KLEISER OF PAGE COUNTY, SHENANDOAH VALLEY, VIRGINIA - 1790. Was born in the Black Forest of Germany in 1765, he died in 1825 in Page County, Virginia. Early Virginia records indicate that he could both read and write German. Copy of their marriage bond is on the Mathias Kleiser.
1795 - 1847 - SON OF MATHIAS AND BARBARA CLIZER. JOHN and ARISBA CLIZER FAMILY of Page County, VA and Andrew County, MO. John was not long permited to enjoy his new home, as his health failed and he died October 23, 1847 at the young age of 52. His remains were enterred upon the family cemetery on the farm.
