Random Thoughts of A Proud Centrist. Saturday, February 04, 2006. Today, two well known figures passed into the great beyond. Secondly, a great heroine for women in America, we all mourn the loss of Betty Friedan. She was an avowed and activist feminist, who did her best to help mainstream the Feminist movement, by opposing more radical elements in the movement. We recall with great emotion the passing of these two Americans, who had significant impacts on their fellow men and women.

Monday, February 20, 2006. I finished Original Wonkette. S first book Dog Days. About a week and a half ago. Its okay. A lot of it is very good meta-humor, with a lot of inside-DC references thrown in. The story isnt half bad, although the ending wraps up too quickly, I think, and the epilogue and final twist is unnecessary. No spoilers here! Saturday, February 04, 2006. DARI KOMA KE KOMA LAINNYA, DARI TITIK KE TITIK LAINNYA. Saat pertama kali mengajar, aku melihat Najwa sebagai sosok yang tak menonjol, kata-kata tak sering terdengar darinya. Mungkin dia memang pendiam, pikirku saat itu. Tapi entah kenapa lama-lama kedekatan kami jadi semakin terasa. Padahal Najwa tipe anak yang cenderung sulit didekati. Setiap hari, saat murid-murid membuat lingkaran, Najwa pasti selalu meminta duduk bersebelahan denganku.
