Sunday, 9 May 2010. Logistics and curators worked well together in getting the floor plans and a theme together to then place peoples work in certain spaces so they would fit. They created a theme that would enable us to split the group up into each room with it flowing. Tomorrow we are packing are pieces up to go to the space. We will be filling the negative space with cardboard and bubble wrap. Whole thing in bubble wrap then wrapping cardboard round.
Jim Lambie at The Modern Institute. This was the mezzaine level to the exhibition and what i really liked was the natural light pouring in through the sky lights, i felt like this room was really strong, even though the lower level was flooded with light the simple space, and light from above worked really, really well. When I chose to be in the marketing aspect of this exhibition I had no idea about the extent to the hard work that would be involved. We started off well with lots of good ideas but were left waiting to get the ball rolling for quite sometime until the name had been decided, the theme was chosen and the overall look had been designed which were all jobs done by different teams. It was useful that we were able to have a website to direct .
