Brody Paul Vaughan, our first son, was born and went to Heaven on June 12th, 2011. In March, Brody was diagnosed with a condition called Trisomy 13, which we were told would ultimately end his life. We carried Brody until our Heavenly Father took him to his eternal home. His very short life has had a tremendous impact on ours. We are so thankful for Brody. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. virtually no time to prepare! They denied it 3 times, but finally. APPROVED! No Butt in the front anymore! Had 2 of these drains in. nasty! Friday, December 30, 2011. My usual meal, a bowl of corn flakes was typically full. That sat on the counter top. Spoke without batteries and where I was sleep.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010. This has been a busy month! It all started April 1st with my birthday. We spent time with the family in Orange Beach and on April 2nd Lucas started crawling on his hands and knees. He would pull with his arms and push with one leg - actually one toe! The month has flown by, and I think part of the reason is because I keep trying to forget that Lucas is now 11 months old. Where has time gone? It is such a mix of feelings! .
